The Fox Valley Metro Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Responsibilities for this position include enforcing the laws and ordinances of the State of Wisconsin and the Villages of Combined Locks, Kimberly, and Little Chute in a community-oriented policing environment. Minimum requirements are: must be a U.S. Citizen; at least 21 years of age; possess a valid driver’s license; minimum 60 semester credits at an approved university, college or technical school; no felony or domestic violence convictions. Regular attendance is required. The starting rate is $19.09 (with State of Wisconsin Law Enforcement Certification) plus an excellent fringe benefit package increasing to $24.06 after completion of a one year probation period. The Fox Valley Metro Police Department is currently seeking Substitute Crossing Guards.
This is routine outdoor work performed on pre-scheduled and varied shifts in various locations in the Villages of Kimberly, Combined Locks and Little Chute. Major responsibilities include caring for the safety of children at street crossings.
Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license or the ability to meet the transportation requirements of the position.
